- Hadoop architecture: YARN 2.0, Map & Reduce processing, streaming, system requirements (planning, installation and configuration), distributed and scalable architecture
- Hadoop access management: overview of security models, best practices
- Administration of the Hadoop and Spark servers: Functional overview of administrator tools, system monitoring and auditing, management of servers and dispatchers, high performance tuning, troubleshooting, strategies for optimal resource utilization
- Job control and planning
- Content administration and development: ETL / ELT, Hive, Pig
- Spark: data locality, parallelization, horizontal and vertical scaling, CI/CD
- Plug-ins: Provision of additional functions via plug-ins, integration of web services
